Gosia, Senior Technical Support Manager, UPM Raflatac

I have previously worked as a Quality Engineer in Automotive Company. Since 2014 I’ve worked at UPM Raflatac in Poland. When I started here, I got to learn about coating processes, quality of A4 and Sheets products, and most importantly the requirements of our customers.

I was appointed Quality Development Manager in 2017, leading a team of 20 members. That was a big step for me, as I had no previous experience in leading a team and the team was built from scratch. Since then, I’ve learned a lot and last August it was time for new challenges again. I was appointed Senior Technical Support Manager and I was able to create a new team to provide technical support for EMEIA customers.

People here treat everyone equally with respect and trust each other which makes the atmosphere so special. Everybody can share their opinions and ideas, also concerns, and we all help each other and take responsibility. We communicate on first name basis and the hierarchy is very low.

I appreciate the development opportunities and work time flexibility that the company provides. For me sustainability is also important, and I am proud that sustainability is in the core of innovation and product development at UPM Raflatac.
